MD, DABIM, DABOM, MSCP

Dr. William Berger is the Founder and Medical Director of Northeast Medical Practice, where he combines evidence-based medicine with a highly personalized approach to patient care. He believes exceptional healthcare begins with listening, understanding, and building meaningful relationships that support long-term health and wellness.

Dr. Berger earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology magna cum laude with University Honors before receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, graduating with High Distinction in Basic, Translational, and Clinical Science Research. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai at Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York.

Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Berger served the State of Connecticut as an Environmental and Food Safety Chemist and taught biology courses to nursing and physician assistant students at Quinnipiac University. Throughout his career, he has remained actively involved in research, authoring more than twenty peer-reviewed scientific publications and receiving recognition for a Sigma Xi Society Paper of the Year.

At Northeast Medical Practice, Dr. Berger has created a model of care centered on prevention, longevity, and individualized treatment. He believes healthcare should extend beyond managing illness to helping patients maintain their health, prevent chronic disease, and feel confident in their overall well-being. This philosophy is reflected in the practice's comprehensive approach, which integrates internal medicine, preventive care, wellness, weight management, and aesthetic medicine.
